"During the ngozé, the initiates relive the moment of the world’s creation..."

Very interesting. In one of my Iboga visions me and my future descendants were performing an ancient African ritual about the creation of the world while we watched the sun rise. Seems to be a connection.

HCL is more accurate. You know how much Ibogaine you're getting. With TA it's less certain, so for something like treatment where you want to be safe it's more appropriate. TA seems to be more rough but more trippy. HCL cuts straight to the chase.

Only one way to find out! I've done Iboga 4 times and only once did I go really deep into the dream world. It's possible I think that too strong a dose will "knock you out". But I haven't figured out what really facilitates the visionary state where many insights can arise.

Hi Robin, welcome. Iboga doesn't cure anxiety, though it may be something that shows you the way forward. It's well worth a try  :)

You should be fine if you don't have heart problems.

Flooding / Re: Looking for Feedback On Flood Plan

I had a friend who recently did a flood but split the dose in two and took them hours apart. His experience didn't sound that great so I wouldn't recommend anything like that. Also with the dosage, if you're taking Ibogaine it's easier to give an exact recommended dosage but when you're using rootbark or TA you can't know the strength so nothing's certain. Just be prepared to be in bed for a few days if you're taking a larger dose.

I reckon nobody is really keen on giving dosing advice. But in my opinion taking the TA gradually isn't a proper way of taking a flood dose. It will unnecessarily prolong nausea and you might not get the peak you're hoping for... although taking Iboga gradually over many days is how the Bwiti do it as far as I know, but that's a whole different experience. So I would recommend choosing a dose you are comfortable with and go with that (perhaps take 10% of the dose first and then take the rest 30-60 min later). Sounds like you are being pretty cautious which is good.

I wish you a truly meaningful journey!

I don't think microdosing will do the trick here... with all the fear and craving it would be hard to focus on his intention, whether that's to be completely free or to gain insight. So I would suggest a flood dose. Then what's really important is after the flood to establish positive habits and a new way of life so that he doesn't fall back into the old habit. I'm sure you can be of great help there. What Iboga can show is that it's up to him whether he will stay clean or not. I wish you both success.
