General Discussion / Forum or website idea?
« on: November 22, 2015, 08:48:19 AM »
Hi,

In a few more months, I'll be done with the programming project I'm working on now, and after it, I want to start another project. I thought, perhaps, a website where people could share their experiences with ayahuasca in a traditional context, but I'd like to consider other ideas before making a decision.

Anybody here has forum, website or program ideas?

Eboka Talk / Beliefs regarding Bwiti
« on: June 14, 2015, 11:16:34 AM »
Some people believe that the presence one sometimes feel when flooding ibogaine is literally the spirit of the plant, also known as Bwiti. Others believe it is some kind of construct made by our psyche. Others have different interpretation and yet others are unsure. What do you believe?

Feel free to elaborate.

Eboka Talk / Difference between the first and subsequent floods
« on: June 12, 2015, 03:04:46 PM »
My first flood was way more intense in term of intensity, number and speed of visions, in term of perceiving a presence (one might call it Bwiti) and in term of feeling a "defrag" going on compared to subsequent floods. In fact, with each floods, both the effects and the benefits were milder and milder, and I wanted to know is this has been like that for you too?

I don't feel any desire to take more by the way. I got a lot and I now have other goals in mind, but I was still wondering whether it was the norm for the experience to be much more intense on the first time, and to get milder in term of effects and benefits with each subsequent flood.

I'm going to an ayahuasca retreat in July and the dieta requires using a chemical free tooth paste and chemical free deodorant. After browsing the web, I realised there had a lot of choice but they all cost a lot and I'd like to avoid having to try many to find one that is effective and smells either good or neutral. Do you have any chemical free tooth paste and deodorant for men that you can recommend?

I posted this question on an ayahuasca forum but didn't get any satisfying answer.

General Discussion / Eboka.info the past two weeks

I recently made a program that applies sorting algorithms to lists and outputs notes as it proceeds. When the algorithm is applied fast enough, it produces sounds that reminds (to some extent) of the typical buzz sound that is often heard on ibogaine. I'm linking a video here as an example:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFuV9CJbUAo&list=PLsgDGeVYAfeB7wHHklkCYpVoq27-Aj3Kf&index=3

In this video, from 0:13 to 0:29, the sound reminds (to some extent) of the said buzz sound.

What do you think?

I was watching dolphins documentaries when I noticed some of the sounds dolphins do are very similar to the buzz sound we hear when we take ibogaine.

I found more similar sounds to the ones bellow in a previous documentary, but then I didn't think about posting about it here. Anyway:
Between 11:29 and 11:37, and then again between 11:57 - 12:03, we hear that sound in the documentary bellow. If I stumble upon more ressembling samples, I'll update my post.

Best sample so far: 21:44 - 21:50.

Anyone knows someone with bipolar disorder who tried ibogaine and can give a comparison of the afterglow versus an hypomanic episode? I ask since after reading manic episode reports on www.quora.com, I realize both states share similiarities.

Eboka Talk / The benefits of Iboga are so great, it sounds unrealistic
« on: December 10, 2013, 06:05:38 PM »
Since I've flooded, I've improved so much in different areas that the actual benefits of ibogaine seem unrealistic. I hardly even talk to a friend or a family member about the benefits of ibogaine since I expect no one can believe it actually is that powerful when it comes to healing and/or making one change bad habits!

I mean, in my experience, neither ayahusca, lsd nor shrooms come even close to ibogaine when it comes to benefits. Not to mention it seems impossible that a drug can make permanent, almost drastic changes like ibogaine does.

What do you guys think?

Edit: I forgot to ask. How long did you still make positive changes in habits because of ibogaine after a flood? In my case, up to about 4 or 5 months afterward I would still decide (and easily succeed) to make a change of habit because of ibogaine.

Eboka Talk / Any lesser-known benefits of iboga(ine)?
« on: December 08, 2013, 06:54:42 AM »
I wanted to know if there are any lesser-known benefits of iboga and/or ibogaine. Are you aware of any?

I've read about anti viral activity against at least hepatitis C virus. Moreover, since I haven't caught a cold or any other sickness in a year with constant ibogaine in my system (since it stays for so long and I flooded more than once in the year), I wondered if it could actually have anti viral benefits against more, most or all viruses. What are your experiences?

Eboka Talk / Visions where you play a game?
« on: November 23, 2013, 06:47:23 AM »
With iboga, I occasionnally get some vision where I play an arcade like game, or some other simple game, for 2 to 4 seconds, and in which scoring is associated with a change of habit.

Like for exeample, a game where I have to put a ball through a basketball net and in which successfully scoring means I get better at doing my chores as they comes rather than procrastinating.

Have you had similar visions?

Everytime I flooded, during the last stage (the 30+ hours after the full blown visions period) I would get waves every few minutes of intense emptiness or vastness, kind of like a lack of life or intense boredom. I wanted to know if it is typical of a flood for everyone or just for me.

It comes like every 5 minutes or so and lasts for a few seconds at most.

General Discussion / What permanent change did microdosing do to you if any?
« on: September 14, 2013, 11:14:04 AM »
I have changed things up to months after flooding and I atribute these changes to ibogaine. However, I am not sure if the changes were caused by having flooded or if having small amount of ibogaine and/or noribogaine in the system if enough to bring permanent changes in the long run.

What are your experience on microdosing and permanent changes, be it any kind of changes?

General Discussion / Is caffeine + microdosing safe?
« on: September 12, 2013, 06:40:16 AM »
Is it safe to ingest up to 6 tea bags worth of caffeine daily while microdosing? What about adding an occasional party with alcohol and tobacco while already ingesting caffeine and ibogaine in microdoses?

On www.quora.com, people ask questions while others try to answer them the best they can. Quora is mostly serious compared to yahoo ask, and its community is quite intellectual. When someone asked: "What are some of the best ways to analyze your personality and discover your flaws?", I answered by mentioning iboga(ine). To my surprise, this has received much more positive votes than I had anticipated!

Here is the answer if you are interested:

Also, I'd like to know how the content of your visions compared to what I describe.
