Hi Chi,

Feel free to contact me outside the forum.  You have some specific questions that I am not sure I am yet comfortable publishing online.

Feel free to google hangout with me:

Watching others on the streets watch them is pretty cool.  At about 3:43, the lead female vocalist revs up for this belting of vocal sunshine, which for me only reaffirms the theory that music is the only language that speaks directly to the divine.

Of Monsters And Men - Dirty Paws | A Bushmills Still Room Session

Now I am slightly strolling down good ole memory lane (great for serotonin release!).  I lived in Barcelona and traveled Europe for a little while.  The way that musicians from all over the world flock to this continent, and roam the streets playing music is breathtaking.  Talk about being affected by "the field"...what a beautiful place in our world, where life moves at a different pace and the NOW is more easily accessed it seems.  Europe was undoubtedly a psychedelic journey for me (without entheogens).

All great songs (and videos)....I have had the best Saturday morning, and I have to thank you friend!  Your post got me on this wave of NOW. YES!!!!!!!!!!   :)

I Have Never Loved Someone - My Brightest Diamond (After the trip, this made me cry the hardest I have ever cried in my entire life. I cried like a baby for like an hour. I cried so hard I started having a DMT-like experience (thanks, pineal gland!) and saw that everything was Love. I felt reborn, as cliche as it sounds. My tears and snot were the amniotic fluid.)

It would be great to find the name of this artist...
I had to play this video 3 times it was so timeless.
Shivering vibrations shoot like light up and down my spine is the real physiological effect that I get....that is music that gives you the chills  (Interesting researched phenomenon....).

Thank you again RhythmS!   You have inspired me to start a you tube playlist called "Pure Magic" with the phenomena of how a song/video can have such a pronounced effect on us.  Your video (I Have Never Loved Someone - My Brightest Diamond is the first song thus far.  On the side bar on you tube the 3rd video that populated was interestingly enough a video that has had this same effect on me.  It fits perfectly into Pure Magic

Bon Iver | Skinny Love | A Take Away Show:

The vibrations traveling up and down my spine are accompanied with a swelling of the eyes for sure.  I don't actually shed a tear, but the joy feels like it's swelling up my whole being.

I have not forgotten about you, I am looking into this more in depth before posting.  Happy 2014!

I will be in touch soon hopefully with good info!

Micro-Dosing / Re: Iboga Microdosing Guide
« on: December 29, 2013, 06:51:10 PM »
No worries guys. I have microdosed with both the root bark and the tincture and found both to be effective. The tincture is a more efficient method though as the alkaloids are absorbed sublingually on one's tongue, directly into your blood stream and start to work on your nervous system quickly. So even a single drop, taken daily, will over time yield impressive results. I'm not sure how one would go about making a tincture, but I can't imagine it would that tricky, I know Maurice's tincture is prepared with non-toxic food safe ingredients.

I am just getting into making tincture of all kinds.....and tonics.....this is really interesting Bancopa!  It would be great to read some detailed reports on this.  The tincture cannot be that difficult to make.  But, I am really interested in the methods that were used, especially where one drop more or less is equivalent to an MD.  That is impressive in itself...

This is a well put together guide!  I think it will benefit many to come...

Everyone is different, just like you said too.... good to keep things loose, we don't know what's best, but we have an idea....

But I was using it mainly to see if it would reduce my rheumatoid arthritis inflammation, which it didn't.

RS, have you tried curcumin for this inflammation?  1500mg a day, something that is concentrated and has high bio availability?  2 weeks of this should quadruple your CAMP (peptide) levels, according to study....maybe this and Chaga?  Or maybe 2 weeks of one, then add the other as a control of sorts....just brainstorming.   :)

NGF is also stimulated by Noopept...interesting...

I read a study recently that was showing promising evidence for the use of magic mushrooms to regrow brain cells, particularly having to do with the area that is in charge of registering fear from trauma.  The results were staggering!!  I think I already posted it in another thread.  Maybe mycology will be the next big wave of focus for the medical community!

Verynortyboy!!!  Long time!  So glad to see you post, I have been thinking about you, hoping you are well!  I think Turkey tail was the type of medicinal mushroom Stamet cured a family member's cancer with!  So cool!  Between the fungi and CBD research, I foresee myself in a tough situation one day deterring a loved one from chemo, and trying something more "radical."

Thanks for everyone showing interest in the thread, new faces and old.  Happy and healthy New Year all!

One Love,

P.S.  If anyone gets on Chaga (RhythmSpring), feel free to log about it here as well.  It was compared to Kombucha by David Wolfe as it is more of a "system" that works on you.  His enthusiasm as he talks about Chaga is contagious.

I find that it helps me be myself and strengthen the energetic boundaries between me and other people so that energies aren't leaking haphazardly.

RhythmS....this is such a finely tuned understanding of the effects.  I got a cool visual from this sentence.

Never tried Lion's...but it's on the list.  I think I would enjoy following these medicinal mushrooms a bit more closely.  They are pretty fantastic.  So you take both daily?

I hope either the Body Balance or the chaga helps your skin.  I have some crazy stories about the body balance....that stuff will heal you on a cellular level.

Diet & Recipes / Magnesium

Okay, here we go:  This thread can be whatever we want it to be!  Just think...

I started this post on an earlier thread on this board (If enough folks read than we will copy and paste for this "Magnesium" Topic.

I have consciously relied on Magnesium in many forms over the last few years (i.e. Stearate, Oxide, whole food sourced....epsom salt baths, nature made is cheap, I think oxide is the active ingredient in laxatives...).  Anyway, they the point being, Ma saturation is key to a healthy and happy existence.  It has over 1000 roles in the body that we know about.....that we know about!

Since it competes with calcium for absorption, I have been relying on a higher dose of Ma at night, since I have to have my calcium in the AM.  It's a better cycle and you get more bang for your buck, IMHO.  I am confused as to how there are still products on the market that are 3 minerals supplements, where calcium and Magnesium are 2 of the 3 (I think zinc being the 3rd).  This would theoretically be a waste of sorts.

Thought this was worth sharing.....especially regarding the Ma orotate.  However, he does mention how Ca is needed to absorb Ma, so there is a relationship there that is just not quite understood, I think...

9 Common Types of Magnesium Explained:

Has anyone tried anything in orotate form?  If so, please share experiences....

Yet bet La!

The tincture sold at that big farmers market for $15, when the same amount of pills (same brand) were closer to $30  ???

If you prefer tincture, I will pick you one up...was gonna refill the medicinal mushroom stash anyway.  It's on me friend.    I also have a bottle of Body Balance for you.  Whether you want to buy it or not, it's got your name on it   8)

The ole' arsenal of supreme nutrition is just growing so fast.  Not a bad thing, but I am finding that supplements can be so strong, that you really need to monitor them like drugs (medicine).  Hipprocrates said it best....

I will continue to share as much info as I can on the wonderful medicines/foods I have incorporated to maintain vitality and health....

I have been on straight Chaga extract, Paul Stamet's brand.  He seems to be the mycologist gaining the most recognition.  What a noticeable difference!  My body really started looking forward to my daily 1ml dose.  That's another phenomena to explore later I suppose :)  Just a bit of info:

The “Gift from God”
Rather than soft like a mushroom, chaga is hard, almost as hard as wood. It is unique, nothing like common mushrooms. In fact, chaga is the most nutritionally dense of all tree growths. Known by the Siberians as the “Gift from God” and the “Mushroom of Immortality,” this vibrant growth has been used by humans to support health for thousands of years. The Japanese call it “The Diamond of the Forest,” while the Chinese deem it “King of Plants.” For the Chinese that is saying a lot, since they have an immense history with countless plants. Now, you can get the great powerful secret of the Orient through North American Herb & Spice’s wild chaga supplements. Despite this exceptional status, most Americans are unaware of it.
To survive in harsh climates, chaga concentrates natural compounds for its protection, and that is why it is so powerful. To strengthen the tree, as well as heal, it makes potent phytochemicals, including sterols, phenols, and enzymes. Researchers have inoculated sick trees with chaga to strengthen them. People benefit by consuming these forest-source phytochemicals and nutrients.

Diet & Recipes / Re: Anxiety remedy - Ashwagandha
« on: December 27, 2013, 01:34:25 PM »
What forms of Ashwagandha do ya'll take?

Is it the standardized extract (sensoril)?

And if you have taken both, do you notice a difference?

Lastly, may I ask, any past addictions/daily use of benzos?  And if so, how does the regimen of your specific type of this herb compare?

Much Love,

I did go back and read your thread with lala.  I did not see if you were able to get all of the pre-medical screening completed yet?  Do you know what the exclusion criteria is?  If you are seriously concerned, I have the info from the Dr. that I's a long list...

Have you thought about hiring someone to monitor your heart rate, someone like a nurse, or even at the very least someone who knows how to resuscitate?  If that's how I was feeling, as you describe, that is what I would do....especially if you go the full 'breaking open your head' flood route.
