Micro-Dosing / Re: Microdosing RB dosage?
« on: August 17, 2018, 12:55:44 AM »
Iboga World has 300mg capsules, so that may be a good dosage to try. 1g a day would be stronger but not overpowering, probably.

It does but it will affect each individual in different ways.

Flooding / Re: First flood. Thoughts and wisdom welcome!
« on: February 05, 2018, 05:33:55 AM »
Just some thoughts:
40 grams does seem like a lot as my impression is that 20 grams rootbark is about a flood dose. However the dose differs from person to person such as according to body weight, and it's also difficult to know how strong rootbark will be. This is why Ibogaine HCL is usually used for treating addiction. I can't say anything about alkaloid extraction, but my impression is that around 3 grams of Iboga alcaloid extract is a flood dose.
I hope that you can really get to the root of your addiction. It will likely take a long time to work through. I recommend getting help in whatever means is available, including the 12 steps program.
Personally I don't recommend taking a dose larger than a standard flood dose. A standard flood dose is very powerful, and things could go wrong including long-term negative effects. Keep in mind that taking Iboga will always be a risk... there's no guarantee that it will be 100% safe.
Wishing you the best!

Hi Dana, and welcome to the forum :)
I wish you the best luck with your journey and your recovery. I'm also dealing with another addiction, food, and am taking recovery very seriously, though I don't intend to use Iboga's help for now. But it's definitely a powerful tool.

Hi augieji. Nope, no replies yet. The forum is a bit slow because it's been down for a while.

The Muse / Re: Adam, Eve and Iboga (Interesting article)

"During the ngozé, the initiates relive the moment of the world’s creation..."

Very interesting. In one of my Iboga visions me and my future descendants were performing an ancient African ritual about the creation of the world while we watched the sun rise. Seems to be a connection.

General Discussion / Re: ta vs hcl?

HCL is more accurate. You know how much Ibogaine you're getting. With TA it's less certain, so for something like treatment where you want to be safe it's more appropriate. TA seems to be more rough but more trippy. HCL cuts straight to the chase.

Only one way to find out! I've done Iboga 4 times and only once did I go really deep into the dream world. It's possible I think that too strong a dose will "knock you out". But I haven't figured out what really facilitates the visionary state where many insights can arise.

Hi Robin, welcome. Iboga doesn't cure anxiety, though it may be something that shows you the way forward. It's well worth a try  :)
