From what I hear, Gratefuldad is alive and well. And from a quick glance at the Kambo forum, it looks like it's just as active as this one.

Hi all,

I see that the forums have died or are on life support.  Thanks for the admin for keeping this alive since there is a treasure trove of information still on here if you just query the search engine.  A lot of old time members are on Facebook, so I'd like to drop a link of a growing community where you can talk about treatment, where to find a sitter, ordering iboga bark, TA, HCL etc...

Eboka Talk / Re: Happy to see the site back up!
« Last post by skinny on May 08, 2018, 07:16:03 AM »
It had been down for a quite a while, was hoping all of the great stories and data on here didn't get lost. Thanks to whoever brought it back.

Lol..I just logged back on today after months forgetting that this site existed!  I mean lots of classic posts here in the archives if you dig down deep.

What I miss the most is that people used to share knowledge and do detailed trip reports.  That's seems to have been lost because of presumably Facebook, the world's most popular social networking platform...which ironically is less about social networking as it is than this site used to be.

I'm back.  The above post is the last one I wrote since Eboka.info was down for months...is this forum back online?

I've been on Facebook but got recently banned (in FB jail for 30 days lol), so I'm looking to reconnect to community.

Are any of the old-timers still on here?  GratefulDad...last I read he was in a coma or really messed up from an iboga flood.  KP...is he still around or managing his Kambo forum?

Re-reading all my old private messages going back 7 years or so :D

Introductions / Re: Iboga for 90G Kratom addiction.

I'm a little late to the game but this is important info to have.  Kratom is QT prolonging which increases the importance of making sure it's completely out of your system before flooding. If a person has a prolonged QT interval due to medications some experienced clinics will assess them over several days and repeat the EKG until the QT stabilizes and returns to normal. This is not something that should be attempted without the guidance of an experienced provider.  There are also all the extra alkaloids in kratom that we do not fully understand. It appears to impact serotonin levels as some people who were taking SSRI's developed serotonin syndrome after consuming large quantities of kratom.  I can vouch for this first hand. Since SSRI's are also contraindicated with Iboga this is two strikes against using it for kratom withdrawals.

Micro-Dosing / Re: Microdosing without previous flood for depression
« Last post by Justbe on May 05, 2018, 04:31:25 AM »
That was my experience too,cuz I didn’t smoke much and compared to the amount I got very sleepy but it also relaxed.
Yesterday, day 5, I increased the dose to 70 mg and felt not different to the other days. Today I’ll take a day off MD just to see how it is.

On top of a routine EKG and abstaining from medication that may increase QT, I suggest coconut water...
