Forward hello
« on: May 30, 2015, 12:25:07 PM »
Really nice to find this place. Thanks to all of you who are here to help and guide us and also to just talk
Like many others looking for a path away from addiction and searching for answers buried under and hidden I have come with what I have left, Hope. I've come to learn how to switch tracks, to head in the direction I was always meant to. A true path I once knew as familiar, lost as I seem, somehow I don't think it could have played out any other way .
If with your experiences I can learn to prepare that would mean the world to me. The state I have placed myself in over the years have left me a bit worse for ware I and those eyes on me seem heavy. It's gaze feels like it has all the best intentions yet I am aware of how rough opening and stepping into it will be.

Now that that's out there.
Im in my 40's living in Atlantic Canada held tight by opiates (methadone) but one way or another I'm getting off this train for good.
If anyone can point me towards any well reviewed providers in Canada or other information that a new learner would find valuable that would be great.
I look forward to reading more here and to start building towards being free of the things that bind me.

Cheers,
Sands

Hi Sands,

Welcome.

Matt, I found him to be awesome, who himself used ibogaine/iboga to treat his opiate addiction before starting his clinic, and has been running for over 5 years or more:

Afaik, is working with GITA to meet standards of care:
