Thanks for your words RhythmSpring

Hello dear friends.

I am making this post as a very good friend of mine has terminal brain cancer. They are in their early 20s, have had 4 surgeries, and most likely less than 6 months to live, possibly not even that long.

I have flooded Iboga once and drank Ayahuasca 5 times. My friend does not know of either Iboga or Ayahuasca.

I am wondering if either of these plant medicines legitimately have the potential to help my friend. I need consultation from others more knowledgeable than myself.

Does anyone have any words for me? Could either of these plant medicines legitimately help my friend with end stage terminal brain cancer? If so would one be better than the other (iboga vs ayahuasca)?  Also to note my friend does have heart problems.

Should I speak with my friend about this?

Thank you.

General Discussion / Desiring to Flood again
« on: July 06, 2015, 07:08:38 PM »
Hello.

It has been 2 years since I flooded for my 1st and only time.  I am desiring to take iboga again sometime this or next year.  I do not know with who or where, but thought that I would write this post to get the intention out and flowing.

I was fortunate enough to have had a wonderful 1st flood.  It has been two years, I have had much to process and chew on during this time.  Since my first flood I always felt that I would like to take Iboga again but only when the time is right.  I haven't felt that the time is right until recently, but don't feel the need to rush into it right away.

I simply wanted to share.

 :)

Ok u rlly shouldn't talk about a condition that u know nothing about. All my photos are from before I got dp! Apart from my wedding photos...I was fuked at my wedding by the way. Everyone with dp can fake looking normal. U are just emotionally numb and distant as in dissociated! And no I cannot feel love or a sense of connection that is what the whole disorder is about.

None of her photos are from before experiencing depersonalization.  She has been experiencing depersonalization for over 7 years.  Before Facebook even came out.  And yes that is what depersonalization is - a feeling of disconnection from oneself and the world around them.  The exact same symptoms she described and wrote that were caused by Iboga.  Yet she has claimed to feel that way long before taking Iboga.

Symptoms of depersonalization:

Hppd is not just a flashback it's a severely altered perception of reality with visual distortions, intensified colours, dissociation, ur body can also appear distorted and ur totally cut off from any sense of connection to people and the outside world. It is a chronic and disabling altered perception disorder.

Also note that symptoms of HPPD often coincide with people who experience symptoms of depersonalization.

You know what you should do Jess.  You should post on the Depersonalization forum and advise anyone with Depersonalization who is considering taking Iboga, NOT TO TAKE IBOGA.  You could probably save some of those folks who are saying they have similar problems as you from taking Iboga the misery.

That is exactly what my intentions are...I couldn't care less about ruining Ibogas reputation and saying it's "bad"

That's who she is.  She will go to any length to ruin other peoples chance of receiving healing and beneficial results from taking this medicine simply because she didn't end up getting what she wanted from it.  That's exactly her intention and who she is.  A sick person indeed.

The truth is she wants to take out her problems on and blame Iboga.  She has wriled up her gang of cohorts, all of which are from the depersonalization forum by the way and is paving the way with ill intentions to do as much damage to the sacred and delicate standing plant as possible.

All of the symptoms in bold MissJess has told me personally she experienced prior to and years before ever touching Iboga or any other Hallucinogens

I myself and a number of other people I know have suffered damage due to Iboga use, 4 of us have ended up with hppd and a couple of others have ended up with the following types of symptoms:

Blank mind
Slow or no thought processes
Severe dissociation & cognitive problems
Severe anhedonia
Lack of willpower and motivation
No social interest
Feelings of mental retardation and slowness

Hallucinogenic Perception Disorder Symtoms:

Objects appear to look like they have no boundaries separating them
Feelings of on the verge of having a seizure
Severe dissociation and detachment from body, self, & people
Body distortions and visual distortions
Vertigo
Horrible intensified colours and hues
Visually distorted mess!

If the only people suffering problems from taking Iboga are people with depersonalization then people with depersonalization should not take Iboga.  It sounds to me that Iboga is not the problem but those taking Iboga with pre-existing mental conditions.  Obviously one must be wise when taking Iboga in the first place as yes it IS a very powerful plant medicine.

You yourself were advised not to take it and yet you did continuously.  Now you come here and complain about having problems from taking it.

I am going to make it my sole effort to get this information out for all people who are interested in using Iboga.

Get a life.  The information you posted isn't even accurate, you had 75%+ of the symptoms you posted before ever even taking Iboga.  You are blatantly lying to and manipulating a large group of people and blaming Iboga for your own personal problems.  Shame on you.

Anybody reading this shouldn't trust this person or take this post seriously.  I know MissJess personally and she has had many of the problems she describes long before ever taking Iboga.  Ever since I've known her she has been trying to blame her problems on anything and everything she comes in contact with rather than take responsibility herself.  It wasn't until much awaited time after her last flood that she even started complaining about experiencing problems.  Also note she took Iboga 4 times + 7 Aya sessions + San Pedro.  She's hell bent on giving Iboga a bad name cuz she can't face up to her own problems.  A sick twisted person full of manipulation and malicious intent this one is.

General Discussion / Inner vs Outer Journeys - Iboga and Ayahuasca
« on: February 16, 2014, 11:31:43 AM »
Greetings.  I have heard Iboga described as an inner journey and Ayahuasca described as an outer journey.  However my experiences couldn't have been more opposite.  My iboga journey was completely outer and my ayahuasca journey completely inner.  I'm curious do other people experience iboga as an outer journey and aya as inner, or iboga as inner and aya as outer?

Micro-Dosing / Re: Microdosing TA (Iboga World)
« on: January 19, 2014, 06:24:13 PM »
I have microdosed with iboga world TA and I back what RhythmSpring said.  It is potent stuff, start out small.  The amount I used to microdose with was about that of a grain of rice, maybe two.  You can put it in an empty gelatin capsule and take it that way.

i was advised not to eat any bananas the day of my flood and also heard from someone who visited ibogahouse say they had a bad experience with iboga and were given bananas to reverse the effects.  i have also heard of sugar cane stalks being used as an antidote.  i haven't had experience with this myself, just heard through word of mouth.  perhaps someone more knowledgeable than me can shed some light.

that's interesting.  i've heard they use bananas at certain iboga retreat centers if people think they've consumed too much to reverse the effects.  i could be wrong, my information is second hand, not from personal experience.

I believe if someone is ODing or has taken too much and they eat bananas or sugar cane (the stalks) it will reverse the effects.  this is what i have heard from a reliable source.  not eating bananas the day of will make sure the effects aren't blunted.
