Hi Michael,

Why not contact them and get a feel for it yrself? They have been around a minnit, and still going, so longevity has it's merits at times.

General Discussion / Re: Anyone tried to inject Ibogaine

Hmm. I used to be curious about this as well. And smoking. Curiosity is helpfulhelpfulhelpful. No shame in curiosity and exploration.
I personally have heard of injection, but the story is put out of my head, so no can help here. Haven't tried that, or smoking it.
Just eating and mucous membrane absorption.

HMPH.

If a body can learn to be stable in this time, this shared consensual reality, then great joy for all can result.
Of COURSE love and union, communion is not dependant on bodies.
But mastery in a fixed assebly point is admirable, and to me, desireable. Hmph.

Hi Harveyplex, welcome to the bored.
Iboga is a plant, as was mentioned previously.
In Polish, according to a friend of mine, Boga means Gods.
Hope this helps.

Welcome to the both of you.

One of the things I value about this site is the search function. Much information over the years.

Things can get really....real here. It's a sanctuary of a sorts.

And actually, there is quite a bit of traffic, just not too much posting. :)

Okie dokie.
Enjoy.

I like it here, quiet or no. Can't do the FB groups, too many graspynasties for my comfort, bless all their hearts. This place is safe to me, mebbe cuz I know Cal really does watch out here, mebbe cuz I know pk is always aware, and dese guys respect freedom yet tolerate very little bullfucky on the board. Yah, it's slow, what news ya got? My related news: I am stoked to be seeing old friends in Tepotzlan in March, at the GITA conference. :)

Okie dokie.

Hiya Solsostenido,

Sounds like you know what you need.
It's known that Iboga has a stimulant effect, and it would not surprise me if it is interfering with your sleep.
Always a good idea, too, to take a break from these 'fast road' master plant teachers, while our consensual reality catches up with our learnings and knowings. Integration, yup.
Great to hear that Iboga has helped with depression, and interesting to hear about a form I've not personally used.

dusttrust and all who donated, thank you. This is a unique place in all the internets for 'boga talk. There is something special and powerful about supporting those who work so hard to bring us a venue to learn and be in. And the best of them, like pk, won't let you know how hard they work to keep it rolling, or how hard is is to maintain food, rent, clothing (let alone comforts!) while doing this sort of work.

So, pk, cal, thanks. Let's keep this forum open, and show you how much it matters as well, with our small dollars of appreciation.

General Discussion / Re: getting clean
« on: June 03, 2015, 02:25:41 PM »
Hi Maineline,

Sounds like you've done some research. Something that you may not have come across yet is "Heantos", collection of herbs from Vietnam. There's a facebook group, for what it's worth. While I haven't tried it or worked with it myself, I've been hearing good things from those who have.
Also, working with Iboga in smaller doses does assist with stepping down. It won't reset like a flood does, but can help decrease the amount of substance needed to stave off w/d, and can help with the symptoms of w/d.

Okie dokie.

Well said, Alexandra, and beautifully expanded, ddraig.

I love seeing words like this here. Yous guys have given me a needed updraft of gratitude for today.
Thanks for speaking the 'unpopular' stances, of hard work and self examination, and all of it.

Love to you.

Hi Rythym,

All so beautifully said. I respect, understand and appreciate the care you described in setting up for the experience. I have learned also that I can approach salvia in a way I hadn't before.
Thanks for this.
