I think depending on the net for support is just adding to the problem.  Good way to stay isolated for sure and Addicts do love being isolated.

Eboka Talk / Re: Overdoing it with Iboga?

MHO, your doing way too much.   I dont think we know enough to be taken as much as you.   I surely would not suggest this at all.   I have seen what this does to the cardiac status and i be damn if I would take it as much.  It can and WILL prolong qt interval if you keep taken it.  I think you need to buck up and just get thru the lethergy stage all opiate addicts have to endure when we clean up...
excerise will help you, good healthy foods, fish oil.  But to take this much Iboga I feel your putting yourself in danger.

I just have to share this,
I have a pound dog who had his ball remove at 5 days of age.  Due to this his is very nervous, being a pit bull, not good.
One day I as pilling up all my ibo and apparently he inhaled some by being in the room.  The change in the dog is amazing.  Even an old client who recently visited me notice the change in his personality.  So... for my dog it was a possitive outcome.  Now mind you...he only could of gotten a tiny amt since I was in the room the whole time.  I do remember tht day he was very clingy...but great outcome for him.

Eboka Talk / Re: Suboxone and Ibogaine
« on: March 05, 2011, 03:57:31 PM »
I was on sub for 6 mo but my sub quack started me at 40 mg... I suffered dearly for that.  Once I did my research on sub I began my wean.  Once I hit 1mg I slowed up, got off and suffer with acute wd/paws for the next 8 mo before I caved.  During this time I was researching Iboga.. thinking I wont make the same mistake twice with taking something I didn't know well.  I book my appointment then went to my MD and got Rx for oxy's.  So I did oxys till my TX.

I have assisted with a few TX (RN) and many due to sub.  I suggest to switch to a clean opiate without the Tylenol or pods work well also.  You want to stay away from Tylenol due to liver involvement.  the cleaner the opiate, the safer and more manageable the Iboga experience.

I would NEVER suggest on to do Iboga without a experience sitter... death, brain dead, seizure all are real.  A EKG is the first thing you should have done to see if your even a candidate for iboga.. then Lift's to see where you stand with your liver.. a good head to toe assessment looking for any other problems.  NO other meds on board other then the opiate..

I treated a guy who switch to poppy.. tx went very well..  if you know your going to have a tx, have it set up then switch to perc/pods or whatever you can.  the longer away from sub you are the faster the recovery period.

may I add.... the sitter should have a copy of the most recent ekg.  THis is so if something does go south and ER visit is ness... to have that baseline ekg will save time and maybe a life... you dont want the MD to be waisting time figuring out whats wrong... show that ekg and he can see the difference and know better how to treat.

Eboka Talk / Re: Can Ibogaine work for Subutex/PAWS
« on: March 03, 2011, 02:21:49 PM »
I was on sub for about 6 or so mo after a very long stint on h/dillie/methadone etc...  I was able to get off the sub but left me in poor shape.  I fell to the cravings 8 mo post sub.  I only use for a short time before my FLOOD dose but if I didn't cave I think I might not be here today.

the paws nearly took me out by my own hand.  Why live like that.. clean but really miserable.  I think for this chic the flood was badly needed.  I also needed boosters that I didnt get and failed again.  2nd tx and now booster avail for the if/when the need comes up.  NO need really, I do take rb here and there and that has been a big help.  I say go for the flood and dont play around with your life.  SUBSUX for sure.

Yeah, see, I am just not the norm.  But I am also not crazy out of control on iboga.  I normally do like 4 grams of bark for 4-5 days in a row, then I quit.  I don't do it on any regular schedule, but when I feel like it.  I kind of enjoy waking up and going to sleep tripping.  Seeing the little white zig-zagged lines around everything.  Tracers and trails, especially in the evening, and that psychedelic glow.

Gd...Pls take in consideration that your NOT the norm when it comes to iboga... Really, I would hate for someone to read your post and take it as the "norm" ....  then die for something as simple as aspiration or drop in HR/BP that did not compensate and die.... then we are all FUCKED in the US.  No reasons to take such risk.  I know I take the medical stance with iboga, cant help it.  I just want this around for the USA for as long as possible without problems or worry.. KWIM?  Nothing personal... just want you to think about it a bit.

I so need to take this to heart.  I worry about myself during the winter.  Feel so stuck in the house, cant sail, cant take my long walks.  I wish I had the monies to join a Gym.
