Did you get initiated since your last message? Hit me upvia pm if you need anything, or post here if you have questions about aspects of the initiation.

I have bee initiated into the Missoko Bwiti. Couldn't be happier with the decision to do it. It is an excellent chance to really take a deep look at your life and gain clarity moving forward.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

Cool site, thanks for sharing.

Eboka Talk / Re: Which method for my situation?
« on: March 06, 2017, 11:24:21 AM »
Hi Robin hope you are doing better. I know from helping people in similar situations that a lot of it comes down to or our mind and the thoughts we have. At the same time you need something to break the cycle of the anxiety you are feeling is; iboga(ine)

I wouldn't recommend a clinical setting as it sounds like are dealing with spiritual issues. I see most of the problems we humans deal with as spiritual issues. Some people may disagree and that's cool, but after working with people for years with iboga I have seen what works and what doesn't.

From similar experiences it is not something that benzos are supplements will fix. Supplements can be helpful for sure but you have to turn the corner first. You need to change the thoughts you have that bring the anxiety on.

We have anxiety from the thoughts we have. It is all how we think about something that causes a feeling in us. If those thoughts are running wild we are going to feel bad.

Sounds to me you need to find a spot that does some life coaching or if you do the medicine on your own work with someone who does some counseling before and after your experience. It is not the preferred way but sometimes that is the only option.

Hope this helps get you rolling on the right path.

I come from a similar background as yourself and have moved past it.

Best wishes to you.

Eboka Preparations & Extractions / Re: Iboga root bark water extraction

You can make a tea out of it with a slow light boil.
The Bwiti Misoko group I know does this.
They do not filter it though. You need the whole tea with granules and all.
It kicks in a whole lot quicker, but the taste is not much better then just chewing on some bark.

Good idea. I would help people is the USA when I am there.
If these are heavy detoxes you really do need some tests before hand.
Things like methadone and Suboxone can get pretty dangerous. I have seen it quite a few times, people stop breathing.
You have to ready for that stuff and be in the same room as the person... awake the whole time.
Have you ever stayed awake with iboga for 3 nights in a row caring for someone? If not you probably shouldn't be sitting for heavy detoxes like Suboxone and methadone. Or you need to experiment with iboga and stay awake while still being able to move around normally , think clearly etc. For a few nights.
If it is pills or a smaller H habit then you can get away with only staying awake for 48 hours with them until they finally sleep.
It is a huge responsibility to be a sitter and in my mind doesn't involve just being there in the other room.
You need to be there 24/7 with them awake until the heaviest part of the withdrawals passes.
Detoxes are dangerous. I have participated in many of them.
Just a bit of caution.
With that said I am down to sit when I can.
Also I bring some shamanism to the sitting.

Eboka Talk / Working with iboga now
« on: January 16, 2017, 08:30:54 AM »
Haven't been on here in a while so I thought I would give an update to all my iboga peeps.
When I first came on this board several years ago I was a lost person using drugs to mask it all.
Things have changed dramatically.
Things have been really good and iboga has taken me on the ultimate journey.
I went and got initiated into the Bwiti last December. That was certainly a once in a lifetime experience and really shed those final layers that had followed me around. The Bwiti is so  much a part of my life now. The Bwiti and iboga teach us lessons of how to live life and deal with all the human stuff that we all go through. Bwiti is really the study of life with using Iboga as our guide.
Without those teachings and iboga I am not sure where I would be but it wouldn't be as good as it is now.
Also over the last year and a half I have trained to become an iboga Provider. Most of the training is working out your own stuff, the rest can be learned with practice.
The place I now work at is an iboga retreat and all based on the Bwiti tradition.
I won't be naming the place I am at on this thread out of respect to all, but you can pm me if for whatever reason you are interested.
Also my girl is pregnant now and we are expecting a child in April/May.
Just an update on how iboga has helped me. It can help you too if you want it.

General Discussion / Re: Iboga for removing demons

Basse' buddy.
Yes, iboga (RB or TA) can help the grounding process and get you back on track.
Iboga is unique in that it takes us inward more than other medicines and makes you very present.
It makes you present by opening up the senses all at once.

Was there something that triggered the "numbness" you mentioned in your post?

Eboka Talk / Re: Beliefs regarding Bwiti

I agree with RP above^.
For me it is a channel to truth, wisdom & god.
I also agree the spirit of the plant is in there, but it acts unselfishly as a route to the real.
Either way or however you feel about it,  it's fkin powerful  ;D

Hey Kampum, been a while since I stopped by. The journey continues.
It is good to see you.

Can you explain a little more about your post?
I understand these parts; grind RB, screen/mesh, travel w Pops, etc.

I couldn't grasp the ancient brought with the extract and "between 800mg-1gr of the 300m has me on the Father current and about 3.5-4gr to flood visions (185lb)."

All the best to you brotha-boga.

The Muse / Re: Hey Muse! What tunes are you jamming to these days?
« on: March 16, 2014, 09:53:53 AM »
I just found out that Polvo has a new album and will be purchasing it as soon as I start making money again.  I have heard some of it and it is wonderful.. they had a new album a couple of years ago and it was their first album in over 10 years and they seem to be even better, which I think is unusual for a band after taking such a long hiatus.
Die Antwoord also has a new album that either just came out or is about to and I am really looking forward to that one as I am a little but obsessed with them.. I am really looking forward to their new videos because they have the most insane videos I have ever seen!

Man, I haven't heard Polvo for years...they were my favorite for quite some time.
Only thing used to kind of be my getting high music...that is actually why I stopped listening to them.
Great band though, especially stuff from 10+ years ago was def. on the cutting edge of rock music.

Hello Eclipse, welcome to Eboka.
I haven't been on here for quite a while myself, but am still passionate as ever about iboga.

900mg of root bark would be a very limited amount to get through withdrawals. It will help, but it would make it a tough ride.
I would experience one day with 1.5-3 grams of root bark and see how you react. *Don't do any drugs during this experiment should you try.
From there you can get a feel for how you will react.

If at all possible since it sounds like you are not using much you may want to look into a flood dose on the smaller end. Having the experiment above will help for knowing your dosage should no other medical conditions need to be considered.

Can you get 3-4 days off from work or responsibilities? If so, I would look into a smaller flood dose.

1 word of caution...a flodd dose on the smaller side can be rougher on the conscious for some people. They don't take enough to "break through" and being in between on an  iboga dose make it tougher for some people.

Hope that helps.

Wowza...what a great lesson.
Thanks for sharing I have a friend in the same frame right now.
I gave him 2 out of the 3. Tomorrow I will give him the 3rd.
I would like to blend your thought with number 3. You made it more powerful.

3. TURN IT OVER TO RIGHT MIND -- "Please help me to see this differently & transform these feelings,
a feeling at a time!  and again, and again!

Thanks bro!

i found a treasure today that rings true to me in a way that nothing else very did. it helped me immediately.
here it is, give it a try, see how you feel as you say it. repeat it, see how you feel. maybe it will help you.

1. IDENTIFY YOUR PROJECTION -- "This is my mind on ego. You are not the problem; the problem is in my mind."

2. TAKE YOUR PROJECTION BACK -- "I chose to get rid of my guilt by projecting it on you. But I can choose again"

3. TURN IT OVER TO RIGHT MIND -- "Please help me to see this differently".

as for iboga, read the forums, the experience reports. the truth in those reports will speak to you and you will know eventually if it is for you.

there is an old teaching which says that the physical world we find ourselves in is not real.
that all we perceive is a projection within our mind. everything. from the dirty dishes in our
kitchens to the upsetting feelings of  we get when someone hurts our feelings.
it is all a product of the ego.
i suffer very much and i find that i do not want these feelings. i push them away and time and time
again i find that i can not get rid of them. i take them as the cause of my suffering. i reject my own
feelings for they are so hard to bear.
but today i found these sayings and they helped me accept and transform these feelings.
a feeling at a time!  and again, and again!
