Want to thank everyone who has sent in donations so far. Your help and generosity is greatly appreciated. Let's try and keep them coming and expect some changes soon to the site. Working on an outline right now and a request section for getting all your input on things around here.

Dear Eboka members,

As someone pointed out, the old thread title was a bit misleading or confusing. So I sent that one out to greener pastures and began a new one. It is that time of year again when we need help from our community and our sponsors to cover so costs for the site and server. Any amount helps and is greatly appreciated from the staff and myself.

Donations can be made through Paypal by clicking the button located here... https://bluesphereweb.com/pkeffect/time.php <-- (had to change it, moving soon so don't know when my local server will drop.) (which is to pkeffect@gmail.com ). You do not need a Paypal account donate from there, only a credit/debit card. If someone wants to donate but can't or don't want to use Paypal please contact me via PM here or email me pkeffect@gmail.com and we can work something out.

Hope the new title clears up any confusion.

Your Mostly-Silent Admin,

pkeffect

Bringing this thread back. The first issue of Dragibus is now available. Even though it didn't meet its' goal on kickstarter, the man with the plan still managed to get it up and going.

http://www.dragibusmag.com/?a=subscribe

We can look forward to a normal release about every 4 months with articles on everything from ayahuasca to iboga. Please help support this publication in any way you can.

Thanks,

pkeffect

Thank you all who have donated. My laptop is dead so getting online  to check things is a bit tough. No idea how long I will be offline as I can't afford to get a new one with the little one due in a few weeks. I will keep checking in when I can though.

I think that nothing should be deleted. We take responsibility for our actions and the recourse that ensues. It is a step in the ladder of understanding.

You guys and gals :p are getting way too many posts from me tonight.....

We move on, we move, we live. Let's get back to what we are all here for.

[edit] To be honest the thread in which you refer was only a trigger. I have been working with a lot of younger people on another server in a totally unrelated situation and gotten fed up. I lashed out here because of this. The trigger doesn't justify the means but the end is still the same.

I am not one to point fingers or name names. I have been on both sides of this in various forms on various sites to various people. Everyone (most of the time) should get a second chance. I think we just need to look at what we say or type before we hit enter many times. Look at it from every angle and perspective. "Walk a mile in another's shoes..."

I know I have a short temper and can be a fucking asshole. Sometimes it is needed but 99.5% of the time I could choke the shit out of myself for my actions. Guilt is something we all live with and something I don't think any of us should. I am proud to host this site. The support and advice we offer is found no where else on the net with the compassion of the members here. We have to look out for one another because there isn't anyone else who will.

Thanks GD and skinny and to all who agree.

Hate is easy, love takes work and is well worth it in the end...

Flamming, trolling, asshattery and general fucktardery.

None of this will be tolerated on this forum. Period. I have been administrating and hosting forums for over a decade and have seen the very best and the most horrid of people. With this said. You will get 1, count it, 1 warning if you are out of line. After that you will receive a partial ban of read-only for 30 days. If you come back and retaliate here or any other site against someone with whom your ideas don't agree with you will be banned permanently. If you continue to harass people from this site on different sites all of your information that is clearly in the public domain will be gathered and sent to those who can take action against you and your bullying harassing ways.

I hate having to make this post but I don't want any confusion. This will not be tolerated by me or the rest of the moderators and admins. There is no place for it here or anywhere else on the net.

Religion and politics have caused more wars, destroyed more friendships and eventually have led to the deaths of more people than anything in history combined. Keep it civil or don't discuss any of it here at all. There are tons of other places on the internet to do this.

In closing, your ideas and beliefs are your own. Forcing your agenda on someone else makes you as bad as those you believe in or oppose because when it comes down to it it's all about control in one form or another. Just because you like some piece of shit a little better than another piece of shit doesn't make either piece of shit not stink.

End rant...

The folder is almost a GB in size. I doubt your 3mb of material had much of an impact ;)

Speaking of under control. The attachments directory keeps filling up yet I see nothing on the board being posted. I will be going through it this weekend to see who and what is being done. There are tons of free places to host images and whatnot, the upload here should be used specifically for our sites related materials ;)

We were DDOS'd today...Either someone doesn't like us or I pissed off someone who has no idea what they are dealing with. Either way we are fine. They can't take us down.   :D
