Taking an SSRI before psilocybin will lessen the effects.  It has been tested numerous times.  If you must trip every weekend or that frequently, you'll need to up the dose, to get the same effects that you did the week before.  Also, making a tea, and chugging it down, so it hits you faster really can help you get more bang for you buck.  You can also increase the effects by using harmalas with or before you take the mushrooms, but be careful because this can add it's own signature to the trip, and intensify it significantly.  I have found that tripping around once a month seems to give enough time to recapture the full intensity at the same dose.  If I need to trip before it's been a month, I just up the dose by a couple grams..

Microdosing iboga isn't anything like taking LSD for days in a row..  It's more like taking a tonic, or a supplement.  It can give some psychedelic feelings in the doses I like to eat, and I enjoy living life psychedelicized, but if you don't, taking 3-500 mgs of root bark a day isn't likely to give you any real psychedelic action.  It can give slight boosts to your mood and stuff, though.  I have known people to microdose mushrooms, with success, and aya, as well.  Using microdosing with any psychedelic can be therapeutic, but you have to listen to your body and know when to say when..

3 g sounds good for you, as I am an extreme hard head with everything, and I took 5 grams of TA when I weighed only about 140lbs..  It worked! ;)

Eboka Talk / Re: Negative iboga experience anyone?
« on: November 24, 2012, 04:11:07 AM »
Unless you have some underlying mental issues, iboga isn't going to give a lasting negative experience.  The trip lasts a couple days, and then once you get some sleep, it fades almost completely over the next week or two..  The people who have spoken of any lasing issues were all dealing with mental issues..

White grapefruit juice inhibits the cyp450 enzyme, which is responsible for metabolizing opiates, iboga, and other drugs.  This can make the same dose seem stronger, since it takes longer to break them down, increasing the concentration in your blood.

You shouldn't lose consciousness, but it should be distorted enough that you experience visions, and you may not fully be aware of things going on outside of you.  That is normal.  I have watched a guy talking to imaginary people, but he was always conscious, even though his consciousness was on another plane, you could tell he was having a visionary experience.   You can take it all at once, or spread it over a four hour period, if you'd prefer a slower onset.  But prolonging it for more than 4 hours seems counter-productive.  Taking too long will prolong the plateau or peak.

Yeah, I know what you're going through, and when the waves come on, (for me the mornings were always the worst), get a hot shower, or turn on some of your favorite music.  Watch, in ten minutes, you'll be feeling normal again.  Start paying close attention to these things, and you'll start to see things are just like I said.  You're almost there!!

As for your exercising routine, go ahead and go for it, if you feel up to it, but don't be afraid to stop if you need to.  Exercise, good diet, proper nutrition (vitamins and minerals), hot showers, and good music all will help you recover much faster than if you don't use these things to your advantage.

Yeah, sounds to me like you could have used a bigger dose, but never the less, you are as far along as ever.  I remember this time, for myself.  I remember wondering how long my minor symptoms would last.  I remember it coming in waves, then going.  At day 9 I was still a little shaky, but by the end of the week, I bet you are really starting to feel the recovery.  Trust me, it only gets better!  :)

Prozac can't be good, and adderall is likely deadly.  Because your doses are so small, you're okay, but some of the iboga deaths come from mixing iboga with speed, which is what your adderall is.  Please stop taking iboga if you are going to continue with these pharmaceuticals, or else you may wind up dead..

Just let go..  Stop worrying and just accept what comes.  IF you are having a lot of trouble surrendering, then you probably didn't take enough.  There is no deciding to surrender, or whatever.  If you take a proper flood dose, you don't have a choice..

Those cacti are not poisonous, (are there poisonous cacti, even?) and they do not contain mescaline.  Judging from your questions, you aren't going to have much luck hunting for mescaline cactus.  If you want to trip, make sure you buy some cactus from a known, reliable supplier of san pedro, aka Trichocereus pachanoi, peruvian torch, aka Trichocereus peruvianus, or achuma, aka Trichocereus bridgesii.

Methadone wasn't that hard to kick.  The way people make suboxone seem, though, not sure...  Suboxone must be totally different, because I kicked a 7 year habit, half the time on methadone, with a single dose, and no boosters.  It wasn't even that bad.  I had minor PAWs for a couple weeks..  I'm not sure, but maybe I am just not as big of a whiner..  After a month, I knew I had won, and by two months, I was at 100%.  It's really not that tough when you really want it, honestly.  Iboga just showed me it was possible, and showed me the light at the end of the tunnel.  Anyways, I have heard a lot about RLS, lately, but up until 5 years or so ago, I had never heard of anything like it..  Wonder why that is..  Seems like they came out with a commercial, and now everyone experiences it.  So strange..

Mescaline is a phenethylamine, and psilocybin (active ingredient n mushrooms) or DMT is a tryptamine.  If you don't know these very basic things, I'd suggest holding off on your psychedelic adventures, and start doing a lot of reading.  Check out http://erowid.org to get the basics about the drugs you're interested in.  Once you have a decent understanding what each of these things are, and an idea of what to expect (read trip reports), then we can help you figure out where to start.

For me, cannabis eliminated a lot of the same PAWs you are experiencing.  Not sure if you smoke, but if you do, it can help.  Also, a booster would help tremendously, too.  Next week, the PAWs should be minor, and only come around in waves, occasionally, getting further and further apart.  You'll start to notice these things, and that should help encourage you to stay strong.  You're almost there!  Stay away from the kratom..  One dose probably isn't going to set you back too far, but if you continue, it will prolong the recovery period.  Hang in there, it's all downhill from here!
