I believe.  No, make that I KNOW that this topic has wandered afar from it's intended purpose:  links.

I, among others, have wandered.  I say unto ye, wander no more.  If you want to explore or debunk some facet of the human experience, start a new topic.

Following are a couple of links that I posted elsewhere which are of great interest to me.  Dana Beal referred to this area of research on a TV show (one of the youtube links above) and got my interest up.

Perhaps we should start a topic dedicated to alchoholism treatment?  I'm guessing that there are more alcoholics out there than junkies, crak heads and speed freaks combined.

I, for one, would welcome more links on the treatment of alcoholism with Eboka.

With alcohol it seems to be mostly about ibogaine's ability to stop the NMDA feedback pleasure loop that so many drugs initiate in the dopamine system.  This is just an interruption ibogaine makes no promises to show you the story of your life or make next to any sense at all, most certainly it can but it's not a guaranty!  Sometimes all that ibogaine has to tell you is that you've thought you've had a problem all your life so through this perception you've been actively searching for and creating problem after problem for no reason... this identity construct is very difficult to let go of.

I want all 5 stars and a tiara or I'm not playing!!! :p

These were posted in the pharmacology topic, but I felt that they should appear here as well.

Following are three links to Eboka chemistry.  The first is a bibliography provided by Dr. C.W. Jenks.  The second two are links to his work.  Profound thanks to Dr. Jenks!

Though not Eboka specific, I thought y'all might enjoy this link to some of Pablo Cesar Amaringo's ayahuasca inspired artwork:

Here's some more from Martina Hoffmann (am thinking Tia and her inner toad will relate to these):

And more from Robert Venosa:

Here's another Moughenda Mikala video very different from the previous one.  This had way too much marketing BS for my tastes and not nearly enough good information, i.e. Moughenda spoke way too little and the others too much.  Gringos giggling and babbling was not what I wanted to hear.  There is some good stuff, IMO, buried in the video.  If all the  --  I shall try not to be too disrespectful  --  hype, fluff and giggling was to be edited out, I would definitely recommend the video.  That is, if 99% of the talk, aside from Moughenda's words, was removed the video would be far, far better.

But, here it is.  I will be interested in hearing your views.  It's late, I'm tired and maybe even getting a little cranky...

You were right about Martina, Eon. 'La Chacruna' I particularly liked.
Made me hungry to go there. ;)

Nice description of the second video Eon, there where unfortunately some annoyances that could have been left out to get to the good stuff.  He did say it was going to be a "hang out" of sorts.  Thanks for the great info!

Not entirely devoted to Eboka but a great source with about 100 links to .pdfs, youtube, books, papers & .mp3s.
