Iboga and Gleevec
« on: April 12, 2014, 12:33:36 PM »
I use Gleevec for my leukemia and would like to use iboga TA to alleviate my deppression. Did anyone do it before.
I know that I have to stop taking Gleevec for some time. What about the time after microdosing? Iboga usues one of the liver cytochromes Gleevec does ( Metabolism of Gleevec occurs in the liver and is mediated by the cytochrome P450)

What if Noribogaine blocks that cytochrome for a month or two and I will not be able to take Gleevec bacause it will not be metabolized in my liver?

Hello jarmuvie,

Wow, heavy question.  Sorry to hear that you are suffering from Leukemia.  I certainly don't have an answer to your question and it sounds you know more about this drug, Gleevec, than anyone else probably does on this forum.  I just don't know but it seems like you have done a lot of research yourself so you probably know the answer better than anyone here.

good luck,
lalababa

this is a question for an expert that is for sure. I have to consult ICEERS.org
